Less drag on the front wheel. 5. Easier to bleed (we moved the location of the bleed valve to top dead center). Weighs the same as a stock Kawi/Suz front caliper. Will fit 2007+ YZ250F; 2008+ YZ125/250/450F; 2016+ WR/FX (2015+ WR250F/250FX) but the 3/8" stock master cylinder must be upgraded to 11mm (ie:2015 WR450f) or you can use a late model CRF450 front master cylinder (2019+) for best results (also available from Ride Eng. pn: MX-CRM11-AS). Note: Caliper will not fit 2019+ CRF models without using the 2015-18 OEM hanger bracket (260mm rotor) or Ride Eng hanger bracket (CR-HB270-BA) for 270mm rotors. Also fits KTM/Husq/GasGas models but only with a Ride Eng. 270mm rotor kit pn: RT-00270-KT and a BrakeTec (2024 GasGas MC450) or Nissin 11mm master cylinder (pn: MX-CRM11-AS). By combining it with our brake caliper you are getting the best braking system available. This combination is not just powerful but its also very progressive allowing riders to feel how much traction is available at the tire's contact patch. Great for novices to pros. The added performance is quite noticeable even on models equipped with brembo calipers.
