The ADV 8.5 helmet kit provides premium protection and performance for adventurous riders. It is constructed from a three layer composite matrix which is a lighter and stronger construction than a polymer shell. Furthermore, it features Leatt’s patented 360º Turbine Technology 360° Turbine Technology mitigates rotational acceleration and low-velocity linear acceleration up to 41% - significantly reducing the risk of serious head and brain injuries during a crash. Disc-shaped "turbines" are constructed from an energy-absorbing, non-Newtonian polymer and are strategically placed along the inside of the helmet’s EPS liner against the skull. These turbines deform and bend, reducing rotational impact forces and absorbing energy from a crash. , where the energy absorption of the turbines helps reduce the low-speed impact energy to the head and brain. The helmet is fastened with a secure DD ring buckle. An ADV helmet is different to an off road helmet, designed to minimize drag and lift for a smoother ride at higher speeds when on roads. It is quick and easy to transition to off-road use, with an extra wide eye port compatible with off-road goggles. Adjustable vents cater to all riding conditions, keeping you cool and comfortable. Depending on rider preference, the visor is completely removable at the twist of a clip, allowing you to set your helmet up to your liking.

Included with the helmet in the kit is a photochromic and clear visor, 4.5 goggles and a Pinlock A Pinlock lens is made to enjoy a fog-free ride. It is based on two key principles to ensure a fog-free vision. The moisture absorbing surface of the lens effectively attracts and stores water molecules, while the airtight seal creates a thermal barrier together preventing condensation of the visor. The system is kept in place by positioning the lens between two adjustable pins, making Pinlock the number one anti-fog solution for helmets. MaxVision anti-fog shield. Photochromic shield technology allows the visor to lighten or darken depending on the amount of UV light.
