HJC i10 Helmet
The HJC i10 Helmet pushes the limits of a polycarbonate shell to create a full face helmet with a light aerodynamic shell and a price tag that isn't too heavy either. The Advanced Channeling Ventilation System directs air through the helmet to pull out hot air and moisture. The chin bar intake vent guides air up into the face shield to prevent fogging. Install the anti-fog lens (sold separately) to add an insulative layer of air to your face shield so your hot breath doesn't condense on a cold shield. The removable interior makes it easy to keep the lining fresh after a simple washing. Special grooves along the temple relieve pressure while wearing glasses. The HJC i10 Helmet is ready to take the Smart HJC Bluetooth Communication System so you can stay in contact with your riding buddies.

EPS liner
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is a rigid, energy absorbing foam. In the helmet industry, EPS is the most common means of energy management to protect the brain. Generic EPS is often referred to as “Styrofoam” (a trademarked name owned by the Dow Chemical Company). Premium helmet producers utilize multi-density EPS liners to balance comfort, safety and performance.

Pinlock
A Pinlock lens is made to enjoy a fog-free ride. It is based on two key principles to ensure a fog-free vision. The moisture absorbing surface of the lens effectively attracts and stores water molecules, while the airtight seal creates a thermal barrier together preventing condensation of the visor. The system is kept in place by positioning the lens between two adjustable pins, making Pinlock the number one anti-fog solution for helmets.

SNELL M2020
The SNELL Memorial Foundation is still largely considered the gold standard for helmet safety. SNELL M2020 certification uses the most aggressive anvil profile, known as an edge anvil, and demands a ridiculously low 275 g maximum energy transfer after two blows. SNELL testing is designed with the energy levels and safety requirements of the racetrack in mind, and this is reflected in the additional testing for characteristics such as stability and ease of removal in an emergency. SNELL technicians look for the weakest point in the helmet and target that point when testing. Technicians will strike multiple locations, testing until they are satisfied an accurate indication of the helmet’s energy-management ability has been attained. Also listed as SNELL M2020D.
