1986 Kawasaki KX500

For sale is my 1986 KX500. This bike is unrestored, but in very good and rideable shape. I recently went through it and fixed a few issues so I could do some vintage racing with it. -New throttle tube, cable, & grips -New Clutch perch and cable -New handlebars -FASST anti-vibration bar inserts -New MSV case saver -Replaced the kick gear spring -Complete rebuild of the water pump -Complete fork rebuild with .46kg springs installed -Complete shock rebuild with stock spring -Oil & Coolant change This bike fires right up and runs/idles great. I did a vintage race with it a month ago and decided I would rather have a newer 450 so I'm letting it go. It would make a great vintage big bore racer or tear it down and restore it.
