MX Locker
Jul 2, 2025
It’s crazy, in the last 7 months, things have really gotten busy around here. Inventory has tripled in size, we made some great partnerships, equipment has been upgraded (better listings) and we have been blessed enough to expand!
Yamaha parts have been our specialty for the past two years, and it’s been the bread and butter for us. Now, I’m stoked to announce we’re going full throttle into Kawasaki as well. Stay tuned—there’s a ton of killer inventory on the way, and some sick new listings dropping soon.
I’d say our most popular product category is exhausts. From high-performance aftermarket systems like HGS, FMF, and Pro Circuit to OEM replacements, exhausts consistently drive the most activity. Riders are always looking to boost power, improve sound, or refresh worn-out systems, so it’s a category that stays hot. Literally.
A trend I’ve been seeing more and more is riders not just switching, but adding the Stark Varg. And honestly, the busier I get, the more I understand it—low maintenance, easy to rip whenever you’ve got the time, and quiet so your neighbor won’t complain about a post dinner sesh. I’ll be adding one to the arsenal soon. I’m not saying I’d trade my Yamaha for it, but it definitely wouldn’t be bad company
Over the past year, my expectations for both myself and the business have continued to rise. My listings have become more refined— cleaner parts, high-quality photos, and detailed descriptions. I’ve also focused on improving customer support to ensure buyers have a smooth MX Locker experience from start to finish.
Get it posted. It won't sell if no one can see it, so get it posted. Worry about good descriptions, better titles, and pricing strategies after it's been published. Also don't price yourself out of the market. This is not Rocky Mountain ATV, this is MX Locker, buyers want deals, not retail. (especially if you've used it for a year)
One of the coolest things for me has been seeing the Presidential MX logo on the side of the PRMX Kawasaki rig and race bikes. If you're ever at a race and spot it, snap a pic—I'll send you a coupon just for the support. It’s been surreal becoming friends with guys I used to watch on TV growing up. Even crazier, I’ve bought parts from riders I looked up to as a kid. We’ve got some bike builds in the works this year with a few legends—heroes of mine—so stay tuned, because it’s going to be special.
The drive to keep building Presidential MX comes from knowing how far I’ve come—and how much more is possible. This business didn’t come from luck, it came from showing up every single day, solving problems, and putting in the hours when no one’s watching. Even when I’m running on fumes, I know no one else is going to build it for me. I show up daily because that’s the only way to take it to the next level. That consistency is what separates real growth from wishful thinking.
First thing in the morning, Black Rifle Coffee—non-negotiable. I don’t open the computer or MX Locker app until I’m actually awake and ready to go. Once I’m dialed, I handle emails, respond to messages and offers, review placed orders, and deal with any time-sensitive issues. Then it’s time to pack and ship orders, making sure everything goes out clean and fast. I squeeze in a gym session late morning or before lunch—health is wealth.
Afternoons are usually for sourcing new inventory, organizing parts, or coordinating meetups and pickups. I’m in the process of building out a vapor blasting side of the business, so stay tuned for that. If there’s time, I’ll shoot content or update listings.
I try to stay active in the moto community, whether it’s planning trackside sales, linking with race teams, or locking in bike builds with legends. Every day is different, but the mission stays the same—grow the brand, move parts, and keep leveling up.
What’s the most rewarding part of running your own moto-focused business?
Honestly, the most rewarding part is seeing something I built from nothing actually make an impact. Whether it's helping a kid get back on the track with affordable parts, getting positive feedback from a customer, or spotting the Presidential MX logo at a pro race—it all hits different. I’ve had the chance to meet and work with riders I looked up to as a kid, and now I’m supplying parts to the next generation. It’s full-circle, and knowing the hustle helps keep the sport moving forward, that’s the real reward
I stay involved by going to both pro and amateur events, talking with riders, and teams. I’m always on MX Locker, IG, answering DMs, posting listings, keeping people in the loop. A lot of connections start online and turn into real relationships when we meet up in person.
I do! I sponsor a few SMX riders and also work with some pro teams. It’s important to me to support the people pushing the sport forward.
Well Presidential MX is shopping for a warehouse, we have outgrown our current space and that’s the next step to grow even more. We will also be hiring soon, so stay tuned if you want to be a part of the team! As for in person events, we’ll be at some such as Day in the Dirt Out East and Mini O’s
I stand behind every single product I list. If it wouldn’t go on my bike, it won’t go on yours. Same level of service, same high standards — whether you’re spending $10 or $1,000.
Give me a crisp 2 stroke over anything. When it’s dialed right, nothing comes close.
You can ride without boots, but not without a brain. Helmet always. I don’t mess with head trauma.
We’re based on the East Coast, so it’s always been a dream to load up the bikes and head west. Fox Raceway and Glen Helen have been on my list since I was a kid. The biggest challenge is just getting the bikes across the country so I might have to hit up Factory Motocross Vacations for a ride day out there!
