Sena 30K Bluetooth Headset

The Sena 30K goes beyond a standard Bluetooth headset by introducing adaptive mesh communication, a smarter and more reliable way for riders to stay connected. Built on Sena’s Mesh Intercom platform operating on a 2.4 GHz frequency, the 30K allows groups to communicate dynamically without the hassle of traditional pairing chains. If a rider drops out of range, the system automatically maintains communication with the remaining group and reconnects seamlessly once that rider returns—no stopping, no re-pairing.

Inside its sleek, low-profile design, the 30K runs both Bluetooth 5.0 and Mesh Intercom at the same time using dual antennas and dedicated processors. This allows riders to talk over Mesh Intercom while still using Bluetooth features like music streaming, phone calls, or GPS directions. Sena’s Audio Multitasking technology ensures smooth transitions and uninterrupted sound, eliminating the need to switch modes or reconnect devices mid-ride.

For group riding, the 30K supports private Mesh Intercom communication with up to 16 riders in full-duplex mode, with a working range of up to 1.2 miles. Additional riders can join as listeners without affecting performance. In larger groups of five or more, Mesh Intercom connectivity can extend up to 5 miles under optimal conditions. The 30K also remains fully compatible with traditional Bluetooth communicators, allowing pairing with up to three other Sena or non-Sena headsets. Using Sena’s RideConnected mobile app, riders can even communicate with others worldwide through a cellular connection.
