They've lined the entire shirt with 165 gram aramid fiber In woven form, aramid is an organic fiber known for excellent mechanical properties, including high tenacity, low density and low conductivity of heat. Mixed with resin and hardened, high impact resistance is yet another characteristic of this fiber. For the two-wheeled folk out there, Aramid is a friend. The fiber - as a cloth - adds abrasion-resistant to riding gear and adds rigidity when incorporated in the shell of helmets. DuPont™ Kevlar® Aramidic fiber with elevated resistance to tear, wear, shear and heat complemented by low electrical conductivity and high resistance to chemical corrosion. This excellent mechanical performance is matched by the lightweight and softness of the thread that guarantees comfort and a perfect fit at the same time. is a trademarked brand name of (generic) aramid. , used EXO-Stitch safety seams at all critical seams and added mesh armor pockets so you can have extra protection right where you want it.
