The V1 has received the latest international certifications, including ECE 22.06 ECE 22.06 is a helmet safety rating that extends and increases the testing requirements of ECE 22.05 (with 22.05 being a more modern, more comprehensive European alternative to DOT). With 22.06, 12 additional impact points are analyzed (now totaling 18) and impact speed is increased (from 7.5 to 8.2 m/s). In a crash, the low friction layer is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head. The removable liner and cheek pads are washable, and the mouth vent and chin bar are padded for comfort. The V1 helmet is available in nine sizes, with four shell and six EPS sizes. You can further refine your fit with optional cheek pads, which come in either thick or thin versions. Thick cheek pads will tighten the fit by 5 mm, while thin cheek pads will loosen it by 5 mm. With a large variety of styles, nine sizes, and modern safety features, the V1 helmet is ready for any ride, including dirt bike, ATV, and side by side.
