2022 KAWASAKI KX250 KX250X OEM CYLINDER HEAD VALVES CAMS 11008-1485 NEEDS REPAIR This OEM cylinder head is being sold for parts or repair. This head only has 15 hours of run time since brand new, however the crankshaft failed due to a manufacturere defect and clogged the oil pump with brass which starved the head of oil. Intake cam journals have galling and scoring as shown. The bike still ran, but was low on power. Valves are in excellent shape and fully seal. Cams have some scoring and discoloration as shown. Cams still turn in the head when bolted down. Exhuast side moves freely, intake side moves without much force but has some light binding. Journals will likely need to be bored out and new inserts installed. All threaded holes and sealing surfaces are intact. Valve clearances are all in spec. Other then the cam journals, the head and valves are in excellent shape. Good for parts or repair. Shims are all larger then 3.00mm.
