The new hybrid aluminum-polyamide subframe is designed to be rigid in areas where strength is needed, but allows for flex in other areas. It’s also designed to flex and return to its original position in the event of a crash, unlike a traditional aluminum subframe. The die-cast swingarm is said to be more rigid and features a smaller 22mm rear axle. Since this bike is a Factory Edition, it gets a few more special features than the standard version, and comes equipped with KTM PowerParts such as Factory split-finger triple clamps, Factory wheels with D.I.D DirtStar rims, a Selle Dalla Valle gripper seat, and a Factory holeshot device.
