tricot
Tricot fabrics are often used as a lining material and can take many shapes and forms. Typically made from polyester, tricot can also be made from any natural or synthetic fiber. The tricot "treatment" can make a material softer and more breathable than standard, non-tricot fabrics. Lightweight tricot liners can be found on apparel like gloves for added comfort and airflow. Heavier, more durable tricot liners can be found on luggage, bike covers, etc.
