Tell us a little bit about yourself! Where are you from, what bike you ride and what made you get into riding? 
 

I grew up in Dana Point, California right by the beach and started riding dirt bikes at the age of 2. My dad bought me a Yamaha PW50 and took me to a local school where I would throw down laps on the school's baseball field! From that moment, I was hooked on riding dirt bikes. Twenty years later, and I'm still riding every week. I currently have a 2019 Honda CRF450R. I also just picked up a fresh 2020 Honda CRF110 Pit Bike and that thing rips! I am still living in Southern California while running Moto Market Co and making connections with people in the industry. 

What made you start using MX Locker?

I started using MX Locker about 6 months ago when I recognized how beneficial the website could be to Moto Market and letting people know we have new and used dirt bike and motocross gear for sale. With how big of a following MX Locker has and how many people visit their website everyday, it was a no brainer to start posting and selling our inventory with them. The whole MX Locker staff is so awesome and super helpful! 

For those looking to get into buying and selling riding gear, what kind of gear do you sell and where do you get it? 

We sell riding gear combos, spare jerseys and pants, gloves, goggles, as well as new and used boots and helmets. We carry all the big brands from Fasthouse to Shift and much more! We make sure to always be asking our customers what brands and gear they want to see. We get gear from people selling online, friends, pro motocross riders, family members, people we meet at the track and at events, and even people donating gear that they don’t need or want anymore! The motocross community in SoCal is so awesome and there are always people wanting to help grow our brand. 

We see you focus mainly on riding gear, do you buy and sell dirt bike parts also?

We actually have a box full of parts we picked up from someone when we were purchasing gear for our inventory! We have posted a couple of the items to our shop and they sold pretty quickly, but we want to mainly focus on gear. When we see parts that people don’t want anymore, we will definitely check them out and possibly add them to our shop for someone to purchase. So keep your eye out! We might post something you’ve been looking for! 

Favorite part about being around the motocross scene in California?

My favorite part about the motocross scene in California is the community of riders. Everyone here is super awesome and respectful. You will sometimes run into people you don’t get along with but at the end of the day we all share the same passion of riding dirt bikes. Not to mention you have tracks all around SoCal as well as hills you can go ride. The motocross scene here has helped Moto Market Company grow so much and I can’t be more blessed with the area I live in! 

Can we catch you at any races this year? 

Yes! We will be at Glen Helen on August 22nd for the SoCal Mx Series. We plan on doing more events and will be posting information to our Instagram once finalized.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Moto Market over the last 6 months since we started this company. The whole idea behind this brand is to give back to the riding community and help people get gear they might not be able to afford. We all know purchasing gear can get expensive and we believe you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on gear to look good and feel good while riding.
