The Pro Taper 1/3 waffle grips replicate what factory racers and mechanics have been hand sculpting for years. Those racers and mechanics started with a standard 1/2 waffle grip and cut one row off the waffle pattern. This increased the diamond pattern area and reduced the waffle grid without increasing the overall outer diameter. Pro Taper offers this factory inspired set up to help riders grasp more grip surface with less pressure, with only the fingers coming in contact with the waffle grid.
