Description
ITEM OVERVIEW
Complete OEM bottom end (crankcase assembly) off a Yamaha Raptor 660R,
as pictured - cases with the crankshaft, transmission, shift drum &
forks, counter balancer, primary drive gear, reverse mechanism, and the output/counter shafts.
- Crankcase casting marked "5LP01" (Raptor 660).
- Includes the internals shown in the photos.
CONDITION & DETAILS
- Used, removed from a parted-out machine. SOLD AS-IS, UNTESTED - could
work, could not. Priced accordingly.
- NOT run, turned over on a stand, measured, or inspected for
trueness/clearances. No warranty or returns on function - buy it as
a rebuild project or a core/parts donor.
- Outside of the cases is dirty and corroded (will clean up); some
gasket/sealant residue at the case seams.
- What IS visible in the photos: crank journals and the rod big-end
look clean, gear teeth on the trans/primary/balancer look intact, and
the main bearings look good - but this is a visual read only, NOT a
verified-good engine.
- Before counting on it: split and inspect, check the crank for
runout/play, measure bearings and gear dogs, and replace all seals
and gaskets.
- Great as a core, a rebuild foundation, or a source for the crank,
transmission gears, shift forks/drum, balancer, oil pump, and shafts.
- Please review ALL photos closely - condition is part of the
description.
