What is an OEM style bolt?

Our OEM-style bolts are engineered to match the original fasteners that came on your Yamaha Blaster from the factory. Every bolt is the correct factory size, head style, and strength rating—built to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

These are high-strength, heat-treated fasteners that won’t strip, round off, or fail the way cheaper hardware can. Each bolt is zinc-plated for a clean finish, long-term corrosion resistance, and durability that lasts the life of your ATV.

Can I find these at a local hardware store?

NO. OEM-style fasteners for the Yamaha Blaster aren’t available at typical hardware stores. The metric hex bolts you’ll find at Ace, Lowe’s, or Home Depot are not the same size, head style, strength rating, or material quality as true OEM-spec hardware.

These bolts are normally only found at Powersports dealerships and sold individually and at a premium. Having a complete kit on hand means you get the correct hardware immediately, whether you’re wrenching on your own Blaster or helping out your riding buddies.

What about OEM push rivets?

Specbolt includes a high-quality selection of OEM-style automotive push rivets to match the fasteners used on modern ATVs. Your kit comes with the four most commonly used sizes—M6, M7, M8 push rivets, and M8 pry rivets. These are the standard fasteners found throughout most current ATV models for securing plastics, body panels, and other trim pieces.

What about OEM-style nuts?

Specbolt uses true OEM-type flange nuts to match the hardware originally equipped on your machine. Each kit includes a generous assortment of M6, M8, and M10 flange nuts, along with M5, M6, M8, and M10 Nylock nuts for added security where vibration resistance is critical.

What about metric washers?

Washers play an important role throughout your ATV—especially on plastics, engine mounts, and exhaust components. Each kit includes a well-rounded selection of the most commonly used metric washers for your Yamaha Blaster, ensuring proper load distribution and secure mounting wherever you need them.

Will I get any sealing washers?

Yes. Specbolt kits include four of the most commonly used sealing washers. These are the correct crush and sealing types used for oil drain plugs, coolant drain bolts, hydraulic brake line fittings, and other critical sealing points on your ATV.

What if I have aftermarket parts on my bike? 

Specbolt kits include several additional bolt sizes to accommodate many common aftermarket parts—such as nerf bars and other add-ons. If you want to make sure you’re getting the exact fasteners needed for a specific aftermarket component, just reach out. We’re always happy to help you get the right hardware for your setup.

This kit is designed as a maintenance-focused assortment and includes the most commonly used fasteners found throughout your Yamaha Blaster. While it covers a wide range of essential hardware, it is not a full restoration kit.

The following items are not included:

• Shock, suspension, and linkage bolts

• Axles and axle nuts

• Swingarm bolt

• Case bolts longer than 45mm
