Engine started and ran during testing — fired in 2 kicks.
Intake boot has signs of wear. Sprocket guard portion is broken off no other damage to the cover.
Transmission shifted normally during manual rotation/inspection.
No abnormal noises were noted during initial testing.
Oil was drained and photographed for buyer verification. Oil appeared yellow/cloudy, consistent with water pump seal wear or coolant/moisture intrusion. This is common on KX85 engines and typically indicates the water pump seal or shaft will need service.
Internal condition beyond initial testing is unknown due to the used nature of the engine and is not guaranteed.
Sold as a used engine and may require normal maintenance, tuning, or service before installation.
Removed from a 2004 Kawasaki KX85. May fit additional years or models — please verify fitment before purchasing.
