High Comp Kits include all new - not remanufactured - OEM replica piston(s) of the same bore with higher compression than stock. Kits also include cylinder(s), rings, gaskets and hardware required for installation. Pistons are heat treated, T-5 hardened and tempered replacement units supplied by Vertex. Pistons come in either cast or forged designs - dependent on factory spec - with molybdenum disulphite skirts. Supplied cylinder sleeves are diamond honed to the exact bore dimension and proper surface finish to ensure proper ring seal and oil retention.
