Sidi Crossfire 3 SRS Boots

The Crossfire line has evolved for the third time! The brand new Crossfire 3 SR is all new with only the legendary Sidi buckles and straps carrying over from the Crossfire 2! All new ankle pivot system is designed to have a "hard" limit of foot / ankle hyperextension. Sidi has upgraded the entire SR sole system on the Crossfire 3 SR boot. New sole "boat" features a more cupped and thicker design so the rider's foot rests deeper into the sole system. This change gives more engagement between the boots upper and sole in manufacturing which will extend the boots lifespan. This change also creates a firmer sole than any other Crossfire boot. Replaceable by hand tools, the new Dovetail SR anti-skid rubber sole covers the arch area of the sole. Toe and heel areas on the new Dovetail SR sole are now a permanent part of the Crossfire 3 SR. A laminated Technomicro is used as the base material in all areas. Slim, cool non-bootie design. Calf plate system features an inner double adjustment that expands to fit even the largest calf or knee brace system! Nylon insole; no dangerous steel shank! Inner heat shield made of high-grip material. New inner boot gaiter has a larger circumference than the Crossfire 2 making for a tight seal around the rider's lower leg no matter which knee brace system may be used. Upper inside of the gaiter features an anti-heat suede protection-grip panel. Removable arch support. Toe area covered in protective plastic. An all new rigid, shock-resistant, anatomically-shaped heels hold the rider's foot firm and thus resists twisting while offering added protection. Replaceable, sleek, micro-adjustable cam lock buckle system with memory retention nylon straps. All buckles move independently of each other and have just one fixed point (by a screw). This allows an easy closure and the buckles can adapt to the rider's position as they pivot on the mounting screw as the rider changes position on the bike. Lower buckle guards help protect against opening due to an impact. The complete central strap system can be easily replaced and is available in two sizes. Lined with anti-abrasion Cambrelle in the foot area for comfort, the upper is lined with Teflon mesh which prevents complete absorption of water and sweat. These materials will not retain water or sweat on the inside of the boot. The boot will dry quickly. All bolt-on parts are replaceable. Sidi patented replaceable shin plate. Malleolus external plastic guard with ergonomic closed-cell foam padding internally to enhance protection of those tender small foot bones. Innovative Dual Flex System upper offers the industry's best fit, especially with knee braces! Assembled and replaceable boot leg is stitch free and is 1 cm taller than the Crossfire 2. The boot leg is fully assembled with screws, is stitch-free and entirely replaceable! Replaceable inner kick starter / foot peg nylon guard on the inside area of both boots. Technologies: Techno-Micro: When constructing most of Sidi boots, Sidi uses a new generation material called "Technomicro". Technomicro is a composite microfiber material created from strands that are so fine, each one is less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. These fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the advantage of better strength, softer texture and lighter weight. Technomicro is also water resistant, highly resistant to abrasion and tearing and is easy to clean and maintain. Technomicro doesn't stain and offers reduced weight, more flexibility and a better feel than leather or other synthetic material boots. Replaceable CF3 Shin Plate: The thermoplastic front shin plate is anatomically shaped and replaceable, an exclusive / patented Sidi feature. Adjustable / Replaceable Micro-Adjustable CF3 Buckles: The Crossfire utilizes four micro-adjustable buckle closures, with indented memory-regulation straps. The buckles, straps and retaining clips are easily replaceable. The buckles have just one fixing point (by a screw), which allows them to be easily closed making the boot adaptable to the rider's position. You will note that all four buckles work independently from each other. This system allows the boot to fit all shapes of feet and lower legs independently making each boot that much more comfortable for each individual rider. Hyperextension Block: The Crossfire 3 SRS has an articulated joint on the ankle, called "Hyperextension Block", with completely revolutionized technology. It prevents the hyperextension of the ankle, the instep and the posterior tendon when the leg is flexed forwards or backwards. This technology guarantees the rider's safety. CF3 Flex System: The upper pivot, on the bootleg, improves the flexibility of the boot and the adjustment of the bootleg itself. In this way, the rider can adjust the boot strap at the calf to his personal preference and achieve an improved fit. CF3 Calf Adjustment: The boot leg has a replaceable inner calf plate, produced in polyurethane and a printed rubber insert, to protect the leg from exhaust heat, wear and tear. The calf plate features an inner double adjustment, which allows it to widen the circumference of the boot and accommodate even wider calves and shin guards. Replaceable CF3 Metatarsal Insert: A rigid replaceable nylon insert has been added to protect the inside of the boot in case the rider's foot slides off the foot peg or if it slips off the kick-starter. The insert is replaceable by unscrewing the four screws. CF3 Thermoplastic Reinforced Toe: The toe is entirely covered by plastic protection panels with an embossed geometric design for greater grip. Anatomically-Shaped CF3 Heel: The heel is anatomically shaped and manufactured in polyurethane. Its particular form was designed and implemented to provide more safety to the foot in case of twisting. The new heel guarantees comfort and stability. SRS Dovetail Soul: SRS Dovetail sole it has an innovative design and a revolutionary replaceable system. Tip and heel are fixed, while the central part, made with a rubber insert with a brand new dovetail system and four screws for more security is replaceable.
